By Her is a book/podcast club focused on consuming and discussing content created by inspiring women. We aim to highlight the voices, stories, and careers of women we aspire to.

WHAT ARE WE READING THIS MONTH?

The votes are in, and this month’s pick is Brave, Not Perfect: Fear Less, Fail More, & Live Bolder by Reshma Saujani, Founder & CEO of Girls Who Code. We’ll be focusing our discussion on Part One, so prioritize that part if life gets too busy for you to read the whole thing :)

As Reshma states in the book, “We are raising our boys to be brave, but our girls to be perfect. And this is holding us back.” That’s why we at Aspire to Her think that this is an awesome book to help us overcome perfectionist tendencies we all fall victim to and make bravery a daily habit to live a more fulfilled life. We can't wait to hear your thoughts!
